Forbes: The Ten Best Sports Cars Of All Time

They focused on sports cars and made a pretty impressive list. This was a bit of their criteria that they used here with a link to the full story and criteria:

The sports car, as we know it, is a fairly modern concept.

When we came up with our list of the Ten Best Sports Cars of All Time, we purposefully chose to focus on sports cars that emerged in the years following World War II. The rationale is that during the first half of the 20th century there were basically three kinds of passenger cars: sedans, coupes and tourers. (More commercial vehicles like the pickup truck and station wagon would not be assimilated into the family garage until the 1940s.)
